Thanksgiving is fast approaching this year as we draw nearer to the 28th. I want to take this opportunity to share some thoughts that I’ve previously posted about Thanksgiving and encourage you all with the great and glorious Word of God this season.
1 Thess 5:18 in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
Eph 5:20 giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,
Ps 30:4 Sing praise to the LORD, you saints of His, And give thanks at the remembrance of His holy name.
Col 3:17 And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.
Heb 13:15 Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.
Dan 6:10 Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went home. And in his upper room, with his windows open toward Jerusalem, he knelt down on his knees three times that day, and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as was his custom since early days.
May you be filled by the Holy Spirit with all joy, peace, and thanksgiving according to Christ in the good and pleasing will of our Holy Father in Heaven, Amen.
