Proverbs 30:33 (NIV) For as churning cream produces butter, and as twisting the nose produces blood, so stirring up anger produces strife.
We will not secure peace in our time or bring about a better tomorrow by stirring up human anger. We will only bring about strife and suffering as people are pushed over the edge. We have been watching the fruit of this proverb manifest for weeks as people’s frustrations and fears have turned into destructive energy that is almost out of control.
American politicians have learned the dangerous secret of manipulating people’s outrage for their political gain, and we seem oblivious to how easily we are being manipulated.

But do not be deceived: sin does not establish righteousness, outrage does not bring about peace, and lies do not reveal the truth. The more we succumb to outrage, the more destruction we reap; the more we embrace convenient lies, the more difficult the truth will be to find; and the more we traverse the way of sin, even in pursuit of righteous ends, the darker our world will become.
Galatians 6:7-8 (CSB) 7 Don’t be deceived: God is not mocked. For whatever a person sows he will also reap, 8 because the one who sows to his flesh will reap destruction from the flesh, but the one who sows to the Spirit will reap eternal life from the Spirit.
