Simple Answers From Biblical Truths
Is Twitter better or worse after Elon Musk's takeover? Is freedom an objective good? Should we celebrate the right to sin? I want to push back against certain conservative narratives and challenge Christians to conform their thinking to God's word rather than to the various political narratives of either the "left" or "right".
What does it mean to be free? And are you truly free? Let's ask the question "does liberty have inherent value" so we can better understand how Christians should view the question of "liberty".
Christians are not called to be agents of wrath, seeking to execute vengeance upon the wicked, but to be agents of peace, seeking rather to bring about their redemption! We don't use force to crush our enemies, we depend upon the grace of God to transform them through the cross of Christ which we carry into this world.
I think we need to challenge the way of thinking that divides life into different spheres and then attempts to assign Jesus' various teachings to their relevant spheres. Jesus is not just Lord over one or two spheres of life, he is Lord over All!
